We’re happy to be here in Auckland and look forward to get to know this beautiful city better.

While RookSoft Ltd. is a new company, it’s really a continuation of what Fahim and I have been doing for the last few years. Fahim has been programming in one language or another for somewhere in the neighborhood of two decades, the last two of which he’s focused on mobile development. Fahim’s written around 20 applications in iOS (for the iPhone and iPad) that are available on the Apple iTunes store and a few Android applications for sale on the Android store. Fahim has written an additional 35 or so iOS (for iPhone and iPad) applications for clients from around the world. And me? I’ve worked as an accountant in Canada for, oh, 14 or 15 years.

So while RookSoft Ltd. itself is brand new and we’re still inhaling that brand new leather smell and admiring our newly-created logo, there’s a lot of experience behind the scenes.
