At RookSoft, we focus on mobile development for platforms such as iOS (Apple’s mobile operating system for devices such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch), Google Android, and Windows Phone 7. Additionally, thanks to Fahim Farook’s expertise with desktop and web development, we are able to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions to its clients wanting accompanying websites, databases, backends, desktop applications, etc.

We have around 20 iOS applications on the Apple iTunes Store and have developed an additional 35 or so applications for various clients around the world (USA, UK, Netherlands, Australia, Bahrain, and so on). We’ve also developed a few applications for Android and are looking at expanding our portfolio to include WebOS, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone 7 as well.

RookSoft is a new-to-New Zealand company situated in Newmarket, Auckland. Fahim Farook and Laurie Ashton Farook landed in Auckland, New Zealand in early 2011.

RookSoft Ltd. is a continuation of an existing business in Sri Lanka that will rely on the proven skills of its founders to take advantage of the growing need for mobile application development. Fahim Farook brings with him two decades of application development experience in a variety of languages and platforms.
